Leyenda de Mexico Extra Añejo (9 year) is a tequila created by Melly Barajas, distilled at Azteca Wines and Liquors, S.A. de C.V. in Highlands/Los Altos, Guadalupe Valley. It is cooked in Stone/Brick Ovens and crushed using a Roller Mill. The type of fermentation is Open-air fermentation, and the spirit is distilled in Pot Still/Copper Coil. Bottled at NOM #1533 with 100% agave, it is released at 40% abv (80-proof).
